Linda

Knee Pain, Arthritis, Alternative to Knee Replacement

Linda’s loves her job at the library and spends her day helping patrons find books and materials. However, the excruciating pain in her knees got to the point where people apologized to her for asking for help because they could see the pain that she was in.  She was also having trouble getting up and down her stairs at home.

Linda is a proud person. She didn’t want to be noticed for being in pain. She just wanted to do her job, and do it in a quiet way.

Her doctor took x-rays and told her that she had end-stage osteoarthritis.  He suggested a knee replacement.  She really didn’t want to take that sort of time off of work and really did not want to have knee replacement surgery.  She had heard many different stories from friends and acquaintances who had failed knee replacement surgery.

It was important to Linda to find a noninvasive treatment option for her knee pain.  She did not want injections because they were temporary.  She knew that there had to be another way.

Dr. Ben Wyant at InMotion Pain Solutions offered a noninvasive solution for her knee pain. Linda appreciated how he answered her questions and always kept her informed about her treatment and progress.  She looked forward to coming into the clinic with its easy, family-like atmosphere.

After completing treatment, Linda went outside to do some gardening.  She was surprised when she was halfway out to the garden and realized that she hadn’t brought her farm cane with her.  She always used her cane.  But that day, she had forgotten it and was so excited when she realized that she didn’t need it anymore.

Now, when Linda sees others in pain, she thinks, “wow, there is something that you can try.”  She offers this advice.  “Just come in and talk to Dr. Ben.  It’s a free consultation.  Just listen to what he has to say and then make your decisions after that.”
